Do you know of a set theory textbook that specifically mentions that
the SEMANTICS for the logic include that '=' maps to the identity
relation on the universe of the model and not just to some other
equivalence relation on the universe of the model?
Ufff... I always wanted to get a copy of Quine's "Set Theory and Its
Logic". Maybe that might be a good staring point?
I have that book. I'll revisit it tonight for perhaps some additional
guidance.
