Justifiably so!.
To grasp the underlying mathematical significance of Goedel's
reasoning -
and of what he has actually achieved - one may need to avoid focusing
on the
analogy of the so-called `Liar paradox', on Goedel's interpretation of
his proposition
as asserting its own provability, on his interpretation of the reasons
for
its `incompleteness', and on his assessment and interpretation of the
formal
consequences of such `incompleteness'.
In the following essay - still under preparation - I argue that these
could be red herrings!
