Thomas Jefferson was correct. The right to vote should not be
extended to every warm body (and cold ones, in Boston and Chicago
cemetaries) by default. There must be objective qualification -
ownership of land, payment of taxes, demonstration of minimal
intelligence... some stake in the System. Female sufferage was a
horrible idea then, and it still is now.

A feminized society worrying pastels cannot stand before a masculine
society cutting throats. Homeland Severity is a $200 billion bad
joke. No brains, no balls, no results. Simple societies progress
with a clear vision. Complex societies are murdered by those who hold
meetings.

Ronald Reagan (11 August 1984, radio address microphone check), "My
fellow Americans, I'm pleased to tell you today that I have just
signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing
in five minutes." It may have been an accident or it may have been
the most sublime political theatre. Either way, the only Communist
holdouts in 2004 are the workers' paradises of Cuba and North Korea.

Don't grant fools privileges.
