Hi

i have a question : is there any relationship between structure and
modulus & strenght in all material. a basic low that have used for all
material.

thank for aU.

Modulus is an equilibrium property, defined in principle by thermodynamic parameters.

Fracture is an irreversible property, not so defined.

Structure of polymers has long been a mess .... but many chemists will be content to define polymer structure as just the chemical linkages and not the twists and turn of the bowl of spaghetti with or without crosslinks and intertwinings. "Alignment" is a semiquantitive term, which doesn't necessarily tell you the details of misalignment bewteen neighboring network elements.

If structure is so poorly defined, at least traditionally, then the structure - property relations are pretty fuzzy.

In short, then, NO. But, there is a lot of "empirical" experience that guides people.
