Help needed for CFSQP

Hi, Can anybody tell me under what situation will CFSQP give the error
information "trial step size being smaller than the machine precision
computed by CFSQP"? From the manual, I know that this happens when the
line search in the optimization procedure fails. What I want to know is
what scenario will cause the line search to fail, e.g. some special
form of the objective function etc.?
