Help!
i have no clue what to do!
I am supposed to find the value of k in this equation...
oh and the 2 after the x means squared
x2+kx-5=0
i have gotten 1s2 = -5/1
s2 = -5
s1 + s2 = -b/a
-5 + 1 = -k/1
k=4
and i have no clue how to check my answer.
can someone tell me if i got this right or wrong and if i am wrong where i made a mistake?
.
