Hi Matthias,
I've only now read your post. Thanks for the tip, I'm now downloading
Mathematica as a trial version. I reckon I might use it to get some
polynomial approximation coefficients. In terms of precision, ideally I
want to be able to offer users functions such as sine and log in single
and double-precision floating-point with 0.5 ulps precision. I then of
course need to test my implementation.
