Hello,

I am taking Numerical Analysis at college. Part of the course is doing a final project which is pretty much open, it can have anything to do with Numerical Analysis.

I can't come up with a good project topic :) so am taking suggestions.

I would like the topic to be:
-Interesting (of course). MAybe something do do with computer game theory?
- Since I am a computer Science Major I would like it to be related to computer science
- there should be enough resources around for me to research the project.
- It would include something that I can program related to the project- Preferably in C++ or Java

Thanks for any suggestions!
you already got some proposals. but from your question i guess you are a freshman
in numerical analysis. hence a more innocent problem might fit better:
what about computing and plotting the intersection of smooth surfaces in
R^3. nonlinear equations solving, a little bit continuation, a little bit plotting
(and not completely trivial)
