I was daydreaming about more options to toss a piece of clay back and
forth between two spring loaded surfaces each with the same mass
without losing any mechanical energy but the best choice is two curves
in phase. The line segments start out touching one curve at 0 radians
then 2 pi on the other curve, discontinue until 3 pi and then back to
the first curve at 5 pi . . .
