Greetings.
I am looking at geometric lattices to model something, and need to
find an answer to the following question: is the composition of two
geometric lattices itself also a geometric lattice? I seem to think
it must be, but do not have a proof (lattice theory is not my
subject). I would appreciate a proof, a counter-example, or a
reference for either. Thanks a lot in advance.
