Thank you very much for recommending the software and the program. It
is quite fast and not so difficult to use. But, it is quite
unfortunate that there is no source code available for the functions
implemented to have a look at the algorithm being used.

Also, thank you for pointing out the "factor of 4^degree - 1" part.
