Hello all,
First of all, thank you Jerzy for your quick and thoughtful
response. I am pleased to report that today I have made some progress
on my issues. I feel like I now understand better (but not perfectly)
how to create domains that involve a category (in my case, the Set
category). I was able to do addition between the elements of two sets
containing a new domain. The reason for this breakthrough is that I
discovered the debugger in the MuPad for Windows 3.1.1 version. It
routed me into and avoided code respectively that I wouldn't have
guessed on and helped me understand programming new domains better.
The reason I did not "get into" the debugger in the first place is that
I did not realize that I had to execute a special command, debug(), in
order to toggle a debugging session. Also, commands can be entered
such that MuPad enters a debugging session automatically on start up as
the user prefers.
I still need help with axioms, though. If it would be helpful, I
can post the short bit of code that I have written so far. Jerzy's
comment to regard axioms as constraints was very helpful.
Sincerely,
Craig Ugoretz
.
