According to my concise Oxford, "variegated" means, among others,
"mark with irregular patches of different colour". Now, I am sorry,
Chip Eastham, but somebody with name like yours, stands no chance
against somebody like V. Bondarenko who writes in one of his Web pages*
(EXTENDED RESUME which has a photo about 25 years old, to confuse
The Enemy of the People)

We learn here that despite what V. Bondarenko tried to convey on this
forum, he actually looked for a job at Wolfram Research. Apparently
he didn't get it, I wonder why...
We learn that V. Bondarnko paid for more than 8 years of English
lessons, counting one hour daily including Sundays and the aniversary
of Vladimir Ilyitch Ulianov. I am absolutely sure, Chip Eastham, that
you never spent so much money on improving your English. Neither did
I, by the way, I never spent a single penny on it, and I am deeply
ashamed because of this...

>From the text sent to Alain Bretto, the actual chief of my
department, which is a THIRD denunciation, we learn that V. Bondarenko
is unable to understand that denunciations in a democratic world
simply DON'T WORK AT ALL.
He may send whatever he wishes to whoever he wishes. I sent already
the full dossier concerning his 'case' to Alain, and to the
rest of the University hierarchy. The ONLY CONSEQUENCE of his démarche
will be that finally somebody gets nervous, sends an inquiry to the
service called Renseignements Généraux, and the name of Bondarenko
will become known to people I would personally avoid. Then, let him
apply for a visa...
Actually, hmmmm, I didn't assemble the *full* dossier. The next part
contains the information that V. Bondarenko grandfather took Berlin,
and the "fact" that I am threatening his life, because I was so
impressed by the military supremacy of the Bondarenko family, that I
wrote that we might ask some mujaheddin for rescue. All this is ready
to be sent to all interested people.
+++++
There is one small thing I still don't know, and I won't ask concerned
people.... Is it really true that V. Bondarenko triggered this circus
just because he didn't get a job from Maplesoft or not?
Somebody knows the answer?
Mr. Bondarenko perhaps would finally confess? he might feel better
then...
