MAXIMA on WINDOWS XP

I have installed it on LINUX (redhat) with Xmaxima- works well.

I then installed (5.9.2) on Windows XP, then start it up, Up popped a
messsage abot Blocking access to TCL, (i think from MS antisypware?) and in
my haste said Yes..... Maxima does not work just hangs at strat displaying
windows), I uninstalled it and reinstalled still no go . I tried 5.9.0 works
OK ran test suite a got a No problem message.

Any suggestions.?
