During a course in differential topology, a new symbol came inside
my life ;-); the transversal symbol! It's a T and a
intersection-symbol, put "above" each other. If someone knows what I
mean; I would like to know what the TeX-command for this is.
Wrong group: sci.math.symbolics is about computer algebra, not about
the use of symbols in typesetting. Try comp.text.tex instead.
That said, the \stackrel command may be what the OP needs. Not sure though.
Maybe define something like
\newcommand{\transversal}{\ensuremath{\stackrel{\cap}{\top}}}
DH
.
