(I have tested the ARM version of Xcas on a pocket pc device,
for example you can't get "real time" 3-d graphs interactivity)
Thanks for that.
I'm surprised you say you can't get real time interactive graphics since many games on mobile phones and PDAs have real time graphics. I suspect the fact you can't on the CAS is more to do with the how the program is written than limitations of the system.
I can get real-time graphics on the computer I am using here (Sun Ultra 80 workstation) and the speed of the CPUs in modern PDAs is actually quicker than my Sun!
I was speaking of 3-d real-time interactivity, for example
make a small rotation around one axis while looking at a
surface (which took around 2s to redisplay).
I'm using opengl for 3-d graph, and I tested
the (non optimized) binary on an hp ipaq 1930 running
familiar linux from a SD card.
Of course there is always room for improvements (as can
be shown if you try 3-d graphs e.g. on a hp49g+)
but it cost times and there is no windowing system there.
