I have a notebook and find on the printout, even in presentation mode
(File->Printing Settings->Printing Environment), that the notebook has
the usual
In[1]
Out[1]
In[2]
Out[2]
etc
Does anyone know how I can prevent these for a whole notebook in version 6?
http://reference.wolfram.com/mathematica/tutorial/OptionsForCells.html
says 'ShowCellLabel' does this for an individual cell, but I'd like to
do it for a whole notebook.
I'm using version 6, but in 5.2 there is an option 'Show In/Out names'
on the kernel menu, and that turns these on/off. But in 6, that option
has gone. What I do notice is 'Append name to In/Out prompts' on the
Evaluation->Kernel configuration Options
menu, but that seems to do something different - I'm not sure what, but
it does not prevent the
In[1]
Out[1]
etc in the notebook.
In the Preferences dialog, under Evaluation, uncheck "Show In/Out
Names".
