Matlab is not a CAS; it is a purely numerical system. As such, it cannot have the kinds of bugs that Maple/Mathematica have in symbolic computation. I often check Integrate results against NIntegrate (in Mathematica), and that is because numerical integration is a significantly easier task than symbolic integration, and so the results are generally more reliable.
