David:

Don't be fooled - Harris has apologized repeatedly
for errors in the past. He does this a) because
errors in his garbage math were caught, and b) to
get sympathy from some people in newsgroup, such as you.
And it worked!

He is not being honest and contrite - this is his
crankish pattern: assert garbage, get caught with
errors, deny errors or resist correction, complain
about being attacked by the "evil" newsgroup, and
apologize for errors and acknowledge errors while
tossing in some self-aggrandizing criticism of
the newsgroup and the way he's been treated.

In this way, he _looks_ honest, contrite, and
a victim of his mistakes and of others.

In fact, he is a manipulative crank. Don't
fall for yet another of his historically
documented "apologies".

James Harris is just taking another step in his
goal to manipulate you. He'll return shortly with
yet another mathematical exposition or assertion,
and repeat the entire pattern. This newsgroup is
his plaything, and he plays it like the experienced
manipulative crank and fraud that he is.
