Actually, this is probably the most truthful thing we will ever hear from
these sorts.

Imagine what we hear everyday from the politicians:

* We need to fix the educational system
* We need to provide more aid to the needy
* We need to fix our infrastructure
* We need more law enforcement
* We need more affordable housing
* We need better foreign policy, the world hates us (yeah, what's new)

I think you get the drift. No one who deals in the political game has ever
or will ever fix any of societies problems, contrary to campaign speeches.
In fact, it is clear that they caused the problems that they can never fix!

I wish we would all wake to that so we can find some real solutions to our
problems rather than the daily dribble we hear. I think we need people who
are more truthful, open and willing to really get to the heart of issues and
resolve them. Corporate welfare or social welfare won't ever solve
problems, but I think there are real improvements that can be made! The
endless and mindless attacks will not allow us to resolve our problems.

So yes, there is no such thing as a free lunch ... that so called free lunch
is "taxing" something in order to pay for it. It is probably costing us the
highest premium we can't even imagine. We have created a free and open
society based on democracy and free enterprise. The economic machine has an
insatiable appetite and can never be satisfied! I can't even afford a home
where I work because, on the one side, the economic machine can't get enough
and on the other side the taxes I have to pay cause me to work half year for
everyone else. Maybe sometime in the near future I'll quit my job and
become a ward of the state so I too can complain about the evil people who
don't pay my rent, buy me lunch, give me free medicine/medical care and
drive me to the local Indian casino. So I think Greenspan has hit the nail
on the head again, there is, never has been and will never be something
called a "free lunch"! Heck, breathing isn't even free as I have to expend
energy to do it!

Okay, sorry for the non-math content and soap-box.
