Why we must go back to Roman Numerals

Some people consider Roman Numerals to be inferior to normal Arabic
numerals, but I disagree. The reason that I disagree is because Arabic
numerals are a falsehood, since they use zero as a digit and there is
no such thing as zero. Has anyone ever observed zero? Of course not,
because zero does not exist!

If we abolish zero from mathematics, then we would be a much better
off. The number zero makes people sad, because it reminds them of
death. So I am starting a petition to President Bush to ban the number
zero and go back to the old way of Roman Numerals. If you agree, then
please sign it and forward it to our great leader. If everyone signs
this petition and emails it to at least 5 friends, then together we
can change the world!

Dear President Bush:

I admire your leadership and courage in the war on terrorism. You are
truly a man of action. To win this war, I think it is imperative that
we take some action in the following area: Ever since the Dark Ages
when the Western World came into contact with the Arab world, the
Western World began to gradually switch from Roman numerals to Arabic
numerals. This was clearly a calculated move on the part of people of
the same ilk as Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein to get their
foothold in the West. Unfortunately for them, this tactic did not fool
people like you and me. The advent of Arabic numerals, particularly
the number zero, was clearly a hijacking of a great monotheistic
religion, Islam, which also helped to cause a spiritual downfall of
our glorious Western civilization, since the number zero is a pagan
concept. (Luckily, the Hollywood movie industry was not completely
affected by this plot.) Those same individuals responsible for the
number zero have been trying to undermine the security of our great
country, the USA, for at least a decade now. In order to stop the root
of this madness, we must take action immediately and ban Arabic
numerals completely from the world and go back to Roman Numerals.
