There is no such thing as an infinite quantity.
Infinity and the infinitesimal are only mathematical tools.
Continuity is the bridge of the finite to the infinite.
You must go through the finite before you can reach the infinite.
Singularities in physics suffer from that problem. They claim to
go from the finite to the infinite physically:as space-time curvature.
Not possible.
