I think that's the qualification for the _president_. I've known an
immigrant mom who wanted their son to grow up to be a vice president
-_-; (and no, it wasn't my mom -_-; ).
And, actually, I checked the Constitution and the word "natural born"
occurs only once in the whole document and it occurs in Article II,
Section I,
"Clause 5: No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the
United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall
be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be
eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of
thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United
States."
