You'll need to set priorities. If you want to specialize in Algebraic
Geometry then I'd advise some Ring Theory and some Sheaf Theory; I
suspect that you may also need Homological Algebra. In general, you
are correct that Mathematics is highly interconnected and that you may
wind up needing tools that superficially are quite removed from your
field of interest. The subjects that you list should be a good start,
assuming that you are already up to speed on Set Theory.
