It is possible that quantum
computers will someday be helpful for
playing chess. For example, I would
try to write a Bayesian Network for
playing chess. Then I would run
the Bayesian Network on a quantum computer.
There are ways of performing
classical bayesian net calculations
on a quantum computer.
