Hi All --
If a (square) matrix A can be written as the sum of a constant matrix and
a diagonal matrix, is there a simple expression for its determinant?
I.e.:
A = Q + z 11^T
where
Q_{ii} = q_i
Q_{ij} = 0 for i /= j
Thanks in advance!
- Hal
