As to cardinalities in between, this is a rather mean sort of question.
As it turns out, the standard set theory makes it impossible to answer
that question (i.e. that question is as far outside the scope of the
axioms as is the question "Did it snow on Tuesday?") You can read up
on the "continuum hypothesis" if you want to know more.
