I am able to use both the old Google groups and the beta groups with no
problem.
On the other hand, I'm not sure that I appreciate the current
inconsistency in how one navigates. On one visit I may get a handy
list, off to the left, of recently visited groups. Next time around, no
such thing. It does, in fact, change in several different ways, as if
the software is trying to guess where I wish to go before I, myself,
know.
It also doesn't seem to allow you to click on a poster's name and get
an instant archive of everything they've posted.
The main reason I use the new service is that my articles get posted
within a few minutes, whereas the old groups take several hours.
