For one thing, ascii art assumes a fixed-width font; I read this as
z^9-z^9=9|z|^4, which has only the solution 0. Then I saw the misplaced
overline.
Assuming you mean z^9-conj(z)^9=9|z|^4, note that conj(z)^9=conj(z^9).
Then z^9-conj(z^9) = 2i.Im(z^9). Since the left side is imaginary, and
the right side real, I think 0 is still the only solution.
