Ummm, gee, talk about nonsense........
1) You make a fatal flaw by assuming that the square root is positive,
when everyone knows there are two square roots, a positive and a
negative. Hence the nonsensical conclusion that i=-i.
2) While theoretically 0.9999..... is one "number" less than 1, the
value is only infinitesimally different, that is, NOT different. The
difference between 0.999999...... and 1 is the same as the difference
between 0 and -0.
3) Congrats on publication! That gives me a world of hope.
4) (the first (4), not the second - learn to count). I beg to differ.
1-0.99999 is the smallest positive real number in base 10. I would
suggest that 1-0.FFFFFF in hexidecimal is theoretically smaller than
1-0.9999 in decimal, since for any given negative power, ten to that
power is larger than 16 to that power. Please, prove me wrong! ;)
4) Didn't you just say 0.99999 was nonsense and not equal to 1? And now
you say they behave exactly the same? If it looks like a 1 and smells
like a 1.........what's the difference? What is the difference between
zero and negative zero?
5)uh huh
6) You have not disproved anything by example, since FLT states that
x,y and z must be nonzero, and your "dark number", 1-0.99999, whether
you like it or not, is equivalent to zero, thuis violating the
conditions of the theorem - try again.
I would recommend you stop trying to turn the world on its head just
for the sake of it. If you want a revolution, let's actually touch zero
and infinity, instead of only "approaching" them. What's the difference
between infinity and negative infinity?
have a nice day!
