The jar contains the source code.

You can de-jar easily enough by using any un-zip program, as you can
just change the extension from .jar to .zip and let fly.

It's just simpler to jar everything up, and put it out there, versus
having multiple downloads.

Now, I'm fairly expert in programming as I have years of experience,
and I'm basically an expert Java programmer, but still...those of you
who posted here who didn't even know that a jar can contain source
code...but then again, that explains a lot.

On Usenet a lot of the traffic is from people who don't know much if
anything about the subject they're commenting on.

Now then, those of you who DO know something about programming can
download the jar, pull out the source code, look it over to see there's
nothing nasty in it, and compile and run.

Notice I don't even have java.io, so there's nothing to worry about, if
you know your programming.

The knuckleheads have done their usual chatter. Now I'm interested in
people who can help me figure out why the program can work so well on
some numbers--factor the hell out of them--and fail on other numbers.

It's BASIC RESEARCH, so if you can kill the idea in some way then
that's fine as well.

NOTICE I'm actually saying, ok, if you can shoot this thing down then
fine, but then again I already have watched it factoring, and know
there's at least something to it.

Oh yeah, one other limited mind tried to actually claim my idea is not
new!!!

Amazing. He referred to multiples of the target showing he's not very
well-versed in the subject while claiming I'm not.

Actually Pollard has a method that can be called surrogate factoring.

Look it up.

Now if any of the rest of you wish to look like complete fools then
keep replying here, as I'm not interested in playing games with you.

A working program is worth, oh, about, shoot, it's probably priceless,
but at a minimum there's $20,000 US for the next RSA number.

Dumb-asses can step to the side now.
Let the professionals work.
