hello.....doctor~
"1" is a factor of (x^2) + 3x + 2
---------------------------------------------
is this a right writing ??
i know that the factorization of (x^2) + 3x + 2
is (x+1)(x+2).
so, (x+1) and (x+2) are factor of (x^2) + 3x + 2.
of course, 1*{(x^2) + 3x + 2} is a wrong factorization.
and factor is a by-product of factorization.
so, "1" is "not" a factor of (x^2) + 3x + 2.
right ??
and....i think....
4 and (x+2) are "not" the factor of 4x+8.
because, There's no more factorization.
um......very confusing
so, i need you advice.
thank you very much for your advice.
