James, what happens if weeks and months go by and the Hammer hasn't
swung? I know it sounds crazy, but let's play what if. What should
our conclusions be?

(1) You were mistaken and you didn't solve "the factoring problem".

(2) You were right, but even the bad guys believed sci.math's claims
that you're a crank.

(3) You were right, but the bad guys are clever enough that they have
broken encryption without leaving a trace.

I'm just curious. On the off-chance that the world isn't obviously
and irrevocably changed from your surrogate factoring stuff, I just
wonder what conclusions one would draw.
