Of course, mathematicians *use* logic, just as they *use* their
native tongue. But such use cannot thereby be claimed to be
exclusive to mathematics.

I am very leery of mathematicians who talk of theory. It implies
something unfinished and possibly unfinishable, and therefore not
mathematics at all.
