Sorry, Tony. I didn't mean to snip anything relevant to the context.
My point is that what you say could be true and still not invalidate
the idea of sentience in plants. That there is no brain to do the
computing in plants doesn't mean there is no computing in plants
exactly analogous to at least some of the computing in brains.
