Nothing prevents you from saying it; I think you'll continue
saying it. What prevents a knowledgeable person from saying it is
quite simple: It leads to nonsense. For example, if 0/0 = 1, then
1 = 0/0 = (2*0)/0 = 2*(0/0) = 2*1 = 2.
