It will take a few steps. First you need the old second moment, which
you get by squaring the standard deviation and adding the square of
the old mean. Then compute the new second moment by the analog of
the change to get the new mean, using squares of x_new and x_old.
Finally get the new standard deviation from the new second moment and
the new mean.
