and i tell you the same thing: read, learn and think.
obviously you have never questioned your believe. you should reason.
how can you argue to people to reason, when you can't do it yourself?
and no, i will not look at your website. no point.
and there can be no reason for those punishments. the westerm society
has been without them for centuries and are prospering and still moving
forward, thanks to openness and tolerance. can i say the same about
your community? you waste time haggling over what is halal and haram,
and forget to address the societal issues.
no, statistical tests are *VERY* important. they are designed to
discrimate between chance and actuall effects. i urge you to learn more
about statistics.
why is it only your messenger is allowed to see God and the angels? why
can't you or i see them? i think i have the right to a proof if i have
to believe something, don't you? i guess not.
once again for you:
the problem remains: if your religion is "right" and "there is no
doubt" in it (as Qur'an claims) how come muslims differ on their
attitudes, how come some are militant are some are not? Why is it not
clear? If your religion is true then the believers would believe in the
same ideals. fact is, they don't.
you have been brainswashed to believe in what you believe since you
were small. it's hard to accept something you have believe in for so
long to be false, so you make all these ideas in your head to reconfirm
your belief. you poor soul. show me that you can statistically test
that your messenger is indeed a messenger, that he is not lying? can
you do that for me?
if a religion tells me i have to cut people's hands off for
stealing, whip a fornicator 100 times without mercy and banish him/her
for a year, throw stones at an adulterer until he/she dies of pain,
then i would rather that _everyone_ hears this from God himself or from
one of his angels directly , rather than from some man living 13
centuries ago who claimed to be be a messenger of God. can it be
statistically tested that he is a messenger of God, can it be tested
within a 99% confidence interval? no.
