[Basic algebra] Simplifying

Hello there!
It's been ages since I did algebra, and now I am presented with the
following term as the right-hand part of an equation:
(n+1)^2 + n*(n+1) * (2n+1) / 6
Could you guys give me some pointers (or perhaps a solution if you're
generous) on how to simplify this?
Thanks!
