That's what all the stalkers say when presented with a restraining
order.

Mark cannot deny what Mark has no recollection of. But Mark has
already elaborated on
this issue. In case you won't admit that you already dug up Mark's
previous post
on this subject on Usenet, let Mark clarify this once and for all.
Mark does not want anybody
to be left with delusions.
In Mark's dozens of posts, Mark does occasionally allude to the fact
that he
earned a PhD in a hard science, and that Mark has successfully
consumated his training in
the realm of finance. Thus, Mark does "have a PhD" and, additionally,
has PhD-level knowledge
in finance. Mark re-iterates that he does have one 4-year PhD in a
hard science from an Ivy League Institution in Massachussets. If, in
halcyon moment, Mark enthusiastically
gave Jesse et al the impression that Mark has more than 1 PhD, then
Mark apologizes if this has caused disorientation for Jesse, Chan Ho,
***, and all other Euclidean descendants.
If you are applying for a postion in Mark's firm, please
do send in a cover letter that says more than "I have a phd in math,
can numerically integrate
partial differential equations, and wrote a 200 page obscure thesis."
Boring! A cover letter like that
won't even get you hired as a security guard. To pique Mark's
interest,
you have to distinguish yourself from the 1500 other desperately
under-employed math PhDs
with "numerical programming skills" and
tell Mark what you can do specifically for HIM. MARK'S FIRM DOES NO
NUMERICAL ANALYSIS.
If you can only do numerical analysis, Mark suggests you seriously
think about going back to school and earn that second PhD in Finance
like hundreds of your peers are doing.
OK, you guys can stop stalking The Markster now. Go find yourself some
other multi-PhD
person to stalk. Shoo. Mark's neighbor down the block has 7 college
degrees, including 5 graduate
degrees. Let Mark pursue his gooooogling in peace. Mark has 300 job
applications to wade through.
MD
