Otherwise, are there numbers whose square root gives periodic digits in the decimal part ?

Or is there a phenomenon caracteristic of the square roots that links the digits in the decimal part the ones with the others, as the periodic sequences of digits seems to be a caracteristic phenomenon of the inverse ?
