Re: Abstract Algebra

Sorry about the poorly stated problem Jim--I'm referring to an element
in a permutation group. I do know better and I meant inverse to be
a^(-1) not a^1. I'm a brand new student in my first Abstract Algebra
class and struggling a little, I really need help.
