surjective morphism of schemes

ls
I have a problem that I cannot solve. I have more, but this is one of
them.
Let X be a scheme. Denote A = {global sections}. The identity on global

sections gives us a homomorphism of rings. This homomorphism gives rise

to a morphism of schemes

f: X --> Spec A

(in a standard fashion)
I wonder, is the map on the topological spaces onto?

thanks for any suggestion
