My objection is that, while performing the same operation which clearly adds
nine balls at each iteration, you are playing games with ball labels and
deriving multiple results due to labelling of the balls, which is unnecessary
at best, and really nonproductive and nonsensical.
In the other scenario, whatever ball n you claim to be the last out of the vase
was preceded by 9n balls already added to the vase which have not yet been
removed.
