I forgot about those solutions (or,
what I *think* that you *mean*), but
I'll treat them as essentially the same;
one more, to go!
spinning at a pole doesn't count as travelling.
thus quoth:
Well, one solution has to be the North Pole. If you go south,west and
north
by the same amount, you end up where you started. What's the other one?
...On the other hand the South Pole is strange also. Going "south" means
staying stationary. Going "west, again means staying stationary. But
going
North, leaves the South Pole, so I don't see it as a solution.
thus quoth:
Is a solution that goes around the S pole twice
"esentially" the same as one that goes around it
once? Possibly. But I'm wondering if you thought
of it.
