Crash Course in Formal Proofs?

Hi, I'm a grad student who is in a stat theory course now, and I'm
struggling with a lack of training in formal math proofs. I've taken up to
Calc III and Linear Algebra as required by my program, but the stat theory
course assumes knowledge of real analysis/sigma algebra concepts.
Due to scheduling conflicts, I cannot even sit in on a real analysis class.
Can anyone suggest a cliff notes type book or other resource that would give
me a crash course in the language and thought processes of formal proofs?
Stuff like sup, sigma fields, countable infinity is all foreign to me right
now.
