Hi David,

A nice first stab! But I think you have created only an ordering, not
a *well* ordering. A well ordering requires that given any element in
the sequence, there is a known next element. (Note that the usual <=
operator is not a well ordering on R, since given any real number in R,
there is no "next" number.)

In your definition, all of the finite sets have a next element, but the
infinite sets do not. For example, what would be the next element
following the set of even numbers { 0, 2, 4, 6 ... } ?

But certainly a good start!
