Hello!
Let A,B,C,D,A',B',C',D' non-negative Integers.
How to find out if the equation
AX+BY+CXY+D=A'X'+B'Y'+C'X'Y'+D'
is solvable in non-negative integers X,Y,X',Y'?
I'm not a mathematician at all. In case that you
consider the issue too trivial for sci.math, please
tell me the correct place/newsgroup for asking
such questions.
Which books / www-links do you recommend for
reading in order to increase my understanding of
such matters so that in (far?) future I might be
able to see the answers to questions of that kind
myself?
Many thanks
Marsellus
