My question on Learning Bayesian Statistics and Biostatistics

>>From a simple google search
(http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=Intro+to+Probability++book),

I got the link for http://www.statistics.com/content/onlinebooks.html

where you will see links (of category) on the left side of the page.
The sub links are courses offered online. Both Biostatistics (under
Life Science) and Bayesian Statistics (under Stat method) states
"Introduction to Statistics: Design and Analysis" and "Basic Concepts
in Probability and Statistics" as prerequisites.

I assume that "Basic Concepts in Probability and Statistics" would be
quivalent to "Intro to Probability" which I plan review on my own - I
took a similar course in early 1999.

I do not believe that I will benefit from these online course and do
not intend to take it nor do I have time at the moment. But, what I
would like to do is as follows:

After reviewing "Intro to Probability" - will do it in about 5 months -
and then try to get the knowledge in "Introduction to Statistics:
Design and Analysis" which I belive would be crucial to "Bayesian
Statistics", the topic I would need to learn for the program I plan to
join: Bioinformatics.

The school I will join has a specific course called "Bayesian
Statistics" and I intend to take it during my first semester. In order
not to struggle when taking it I would really like to use the coming
summer to prepare for it. What would be a good book for that
preparation which I think should cover "Introduction to Statistics:
Design and Analysis" though I could be wrong?

I see Biostatistics online courses at UC - Berkely but I don't like
online course nor do I have the time. Beside, Biostatistics course
would be too broad. I just need "Bayesain Statistics" for
Bioinformatics. This particular program is at UC system.

Any tips, guides, information would be appreciated.
