Hello,
Does anyone know about a book or a work that deals about representations of profinite groups? please let me know.
Thanks,
Michael.
A google search on "profinite groups" yielded a number of links to
expository web pages.
One of the search hits led to a short document titled
"Introduction to Profinite Groups"
by Martyn Quick
You can download it at this link:
<http://turnbull.mcs.st-and.ac.uk/~martyn/research/profiniteIntro_handout.pdf>
At the end of the document, he lists 3 references:
J. D. Dixon, M. P. F. du Sautoy, A. Mann & D. Segal,
Analytic pro-p groups, 2nd edition, Cambridge studies in
advanced math. 61 (CUP, 1999)
Luis Ribes & Pavel Zalesskii, Profinite groups, Ergebnisse der
Math. 40 (Springer, 2000)
John S. Wilson, Profinite groups, LMS Monographs 19 (OUP,
1998)

Ah, I see that I didn't read your post carefully.
You were asking specifically about sources dealing with
_representations_ of profinite groups rather than general references.
As for general references, there's lots of them. A search on
amazon.com lists 8 books with "profinite groups" in the title.
